A number of Wapato Middle School students recently competed in the 2019 Mid-Valley Math Competition and performed very well.  See the competition categories and team results below.

Number Sense -7th Grade "A" took 3rd place 

Probability-7th Grade "A" took 2nd place, 8th Grade "B" took 3rd place 

Mental Math-7th Grade "A" took 2nd place 

Algebra-6th Grade "B" took 2nd place & 6th grade "A" took 3rd place, 7th Grade "A" and "B" tied for 2nd place 

Geometry-6th Grade "A" took 3rd place 

Potpourri-6th Grade "A" took 3rd place

7th grade team took 3rd overall for the competition
